Description
This concert is part of the 'Vocal Parallels' series, focusing on late 16th and early 17th-century English vocal music by composers like Dowland, Byrd, Bull, Coprario, and Jones. The program innovatively presents these pieces with harpsichord accompaniment instead of the traditional lute, a practice rarely performed today and reconstructed based on historical evidence by harpsichordist Dmytro Kokoshynskyy. The event features a collaboration between tenor Zachary Wilder, lutenist Eduardo Egüez, and harpsichordist Dmytro Kokoshynskyy, who will also perform a new solo work by Maxim Shalygin.
