The Brass Bridges brass quintet and organist Sofija Grgur invite you to an impressive concert experience. The program spans from the majestic sounds of the Renaissance, through the romantic era, to lively rhythms of the 20th century, highlighting the expressive power of this unique ensemble. Brass Bridges, formed in 2020, brings together experienced musicians from northern Switzerland and southern Germany, dedicated to a broad repertoire from early music to modern compositions. The connection of brass quintet and organ creates a blend of festive brilliance and subtle tonal colors, offering fresh musical perspectives. The program includes works by Giovanni Gabrieli, Sigfrid Karg-Elert, Viktor Ewald, Leonard Bernstein, and Eugène Gigout, complemented by organ solos performed by Sofija Grgur.
