One day, this colorful chaos device is thrown into turmoil. Without warning, a huge tin can is delivered. Frau Bartolotti is convinced she ordered nothing – her surprise is great when a boy suddenly rises from the can. His name is Konrad. And he is no ordinary child, but a brand-new model: impeccably dressed and well-behaved to the fingertips. According to the enclosed instructions, he is Frau Bartolotti's "just delivered son." What initially seems like a joke quickly becomes a matter of the heart. Because no matter how neat Konrad may be – he is a child who needs affection. And Frau Bartolotti has plenty of it. She immediately takes Konrad to her heart. Thus begins a new life for him – one with genuine warmth and real laughter. But happiness is threatened. The can factory has noticed that something went wrong during delivery. Busy factory representatives want to retrieve the "product" to hand it over to its rightful owner. But for Frau Bartolotti, it is clear: Konrad is not a product – he is her son. But how to convince the world of that? If Konrad stops being the perfect, well-behaved exemplary child, he no longer fits the norm and becomes worthless to the factory. So Konrad must learn to be naughty, make mistakes, laugh loudly, contradict – in short: just become a child. In this lovingly staged story, a flawless model boy becomes a real person with quirks and edges. And Frau Bartolotti proves that family is not created through packaging or regulations, but through solidarity and love.
