As part of the 'Central Office for Mobility Issues,' this radio station not only informs but also creates a new sense of community through hotlines, studio guests, interactive formats, and other KNOTENPUNKTE. Featuring live music by Ensemble Recherche composed by Clemens K. Thomas. On the microphone: Friedemann Dupelius ------- "The fictional 'Central Office for Mobility Research' in Freiburg is renamed on the occasion of its 70th anniversary and becomes the 'Central Office for Mobility Issues' (ZfMf). With the rebranding, it opens up to the city community and makes scientific content more accessible – from mobility data and environmental issues to historical developments and urban planning strategies. A central part of this realignment is the launch of the online radio station mobile. fm. It not only informs but also fosters a new community: through hotlines, studio guests, and interactive formats, listeners become participants. The station is operated by the staff of ZfMf themselves, who are gradually finding their new roles." The live radio play KNOTENPUNKTE by Clemens K. Thomas (music) and Friedemann Dupelius (text) brings this dynamic to our stage at the Ensemblehaus. The musicians of Ensemble Recherche embody the 'machinery' of the busy central office – a sonic engine room between precise bureaucracy and exaggerated dynamics, where institutional and media change can be heard. Funded by the City of Freiburg, the State of Baden-Württemberg, the Baden-Württemberg Foundation, and Volksbank Freiburg. Additional information:
