Description

After about ten years of existence, the Knöppel are now an integral part of the Swiss music scene, in its most underground fringe. "Sex Jazz Scheisse," released in 2023, is the band's third album, whose art consists of pretending to be a (somewhat primitive) band with a very limited repertoire. And since this approach is so delightfully nonchalant, raw, and varied, we enjoy pretending to believe in them. The album may not be quite as good as their first opus "Hey Wichsers," but at least as good as their second, "Faszination Glied." In other words: the band remains constantly bad. Recorded in a rush over a weekend, the album sounds (once again) like a debut album – for better and for worse, but mostly for the better. The trio has evolved: a bit more ambitious in writing, even more raw in execution, with lyrics as always absolutely useless but funny and sometimes quite clever. With old hits like "Prada," "Dä hät mi ghaue dä Wichser," "Schüga," or "Glied," it's the perfect recipe for a well-drunk rock'n'roll evening, full of mindfulness and harmony. True to tradition, the evening will be opened by the duo Jack Stoiker.

General Information

The Knöppel concert will take place at the Kulturfabrik KUFA in Lyss. The band, known for its raw and nonchalant style, will present tracks from their latest album as well as classics from their repertoire.
