Sounds of the North - a cross-art concert experience

Description

"Sounds of the North" is a choral concert that combines Nordic a cappella choral music with improvised sound dialogues and visual staging. The choir XANG interprets works from Scandinavia, which are picked up by the duo "duodendron" (Linus Amstad & Jonas Inglin) with saxophone and trombone and continued with free improvisations. Additionally, young people from the Children's and Youth Theater Zug will create aesthetic tableaux, so-called Tableaux Vivantes. Song texts and moods are made physically visible. A dense world of sound and images is created - entirely according to the motto of our choir: Touch and surprise.
