Kirsch & Fondue: a classic symbiosis!

Description

After exploring new paths last year with Gin & cheese fondue, this year we want to try the classic version: Kirsch with cheese fondue. Finest cherry brandies from the best Swiss traditional distilleries will be served with the fondue. There will also be explanations and stories, such as how the ripe fruit aroma is transferred into the distillate and what makes it so special when spicy, melted cheese meets aromatic cherry brandy, the reason behind the combination, and whether it really aids digestion. Lidwina Weh will guide us through the evening with her great expertise, passion, and some anecdotes, from the aperitif by the fire to the tasting of four different cherry brandies during the fondue.

General Information

The event takes place at the Volkshochschule Region Wohlen and is dedicated to the classic combination of kirsch and cheese fondue. Participants can look forward to an informative and enjoyable tasting, accompanied by stories and explanations about the production of cherry brandy.
