Description
Music that helps. Music from the world of Kingdom Come: Deliverance II. will be performed in a chamber setting at the Kulturní dům Slavie in České Budějovice. The chamber orchestra Warhorse will be personally conducted by composer and conductor Jan Valta, the author of the game's music. The evening will feature two separate concerts – at 18:00 and 20:00. Each will last approximately 55 minutes without an intermission. The music, inspired by the atmosphere of the Czech lands in the early 15th century, combines period elements with the contemporary language of film and game music. The chamber arrangement will allow the melodies, rhythms, and details of well-known pieces to shine, offering a more personal rendition. The uniqueness of the concert is also highlighted by Jan Valta personally conducting his compositions, creating a direct connection between the composer, the orchestra, and the audience. The evening also has a charitable dimension. Proceeds from the ticket sales will support cancer patients through the organization NEBÝT NA TO SAMA JIŽNÍ ČECHY. This double concert will thus connect music, history, the world of Kingdom Come, and concrete help for people. It will remind us that music can not only tell stories but also help.
