Kindertheatertage 2026 | "Ritter Rost - Das Musical"

Description

A fast-paced, spectacular piece with music by Felix Janosa for ages 4 and up. Artur really doesn't have it easy in his library. Pink-bound fairy books with glitter, shimmer, and show effects are what the customers want. And cookbooks. As if the whole time was about eating. But for the true, real hero stories with surprising twists, no one shows interest anymore. Not even his next customer. But driven by a "voice," Artur gets to work and offers his customer something completely different: "Ritter Rost, a rusty pile of tin with bulging eyes?" she asks. Did Artur really have such a good idea? Director: Stefan P. Maatz. Figures and stage: Monika Seibold. It features: Virginia & Stefan P. Maatz. Well-known stories are broken, rewritten, and partly reinvented by the Schlitzer Theater con Cuore, maintaining their core tone. New perspectives on characters and dramaturgy emerge. Exciting stage sets and sophisticated lighting effects enhance the magic of modern puppet theater. Virginia and Stefan P. Maatz bring their characters seemingly to life.
