For years, the Willisau Kilbi has been one of the biggest highlights of the autumn season in Willisau. On Saturday, October 17th from 2:00 PM until Monday, October 19th, the traditional Willisau Kilbi takes place in and around the old town. It features breathtaking Kilbi rides high in the air, fragrant market stalls, and cozy taverns to linger in. From Saturday to Monday, visitors can enjoy the lively Kilbi atmosphere from Untertor through the Rathaus to Zehntenplatz. Throughout the weekend, the Kilbi is enriched by numerous clubs operating their own booths, sales stands, or game stalls. After Sunday, which is dedicated to wheel of fortune and clubs, Monday is traditionally reserved for the Kilbi market. Vendors from all over Switzerland present their goods. The Kilbi rides will also be in full swing on this day.
