KESHAVARA prefer to search for their coordinates in the flicker rather than on the map: somewhere between Cologne and South India, between Kraut Pop, psychedelic soundtracks, and an adventurous Patois of English, German, Tamil, and Gibberish. On "Moondram Sevi," the fourth album by the band around the German-Indian musician Keshav Purushotham with Niklas Schneider, Benedikt Filleböck, and Christopher Martin, this in-between realm opens up even further. The title, in Tamil "drittes Ohr," leads to a place where memory, fantasy, and a few misunderstood film scenes get mixed up.
