Together, they present an extraordinary repertoire that balances sophisticated composition and improvisational freedom. The works were specially composed for their duo by prominent figures from jazz and contemporary music. Wayne Shorter, Branford Marsalis, Ibrahim Maalouf, Richard Galliano, Michel Portal, Avishai Cohen, and Baptiste Trotignon are among the many artists who have contributed to this unique musical universe. BORDER JAZZ is an innovative music project performed in Europe and internationally, where saxophone and piano blur the boundaries between genres.
