Ceramic Basics and Experiments

Description

The workshop offers an introduction to various techniques of hand-building ceramics. It covers slab, coil, and pinch pot techniques. Participants sketch their own ideas and implement them step by step. This can result in bowls, cups, utilitarian objects, small sculptures, or other items. Additionally, different possibilities for surface design with textures and glazes are presented. The course is aimed at those interested in learning hand-building and acquiring the basics of pottery. After the course, there is the possibility to continue working independently in the open ceramics studio. Guest instructor: Lina Eckert

General Information
