Historian Dr. Michael Mente from Weinfelden narrates the intriguing story of the Seelinie railway line, a project born out of political struggles and rivalries. Following his presentation, Konstanz historian Werner Trapp discusses recent publications on the history of the Mittel-Thurgau-Bahn and the connection between the two lines that brought three stations to Kreuzlingen. The event features a historical caricature from 1868/69 depicting the political conflicts surrounding the 'Seeschlange' railway line.
