Katja Riemann, Franziska Hölscher & Marianna Shirinyan - Carnival of Happiness

Description

These three extraordinary artists want to take their audience to the place of humor and music on this evening, as both can have healing effects. Camille Saint-Saëns' incomparable compositions have inspired Roger Willemsen to a lyrical story filled with humor and imagination. Everything rhymes! All references to religion, eroticism, human rights, or mentality are reflected in the anthropomorphized animal creatures. When Katja Riemann came into possession of Willemsen's adaptation of Job's story, disguised as an illustrated children's book titled "The Tired Happiness," the second part of the evening was clear. The carnival and the circus: both equally extraordinary gatherings of humans and animals, framed by entertainment. "Katja Riemann with a voice that possesses an almost overwhelming range of expressive facets, and the two musicians: violinist Franziska Hölscher and pianist Marianna Shirinyan, who bring this Carnival of Animals to life in all its shades on their instruments."
