Titled "My Soul Hears While Watching," Karl-Heinz Köhler's exhibition is inspired by a work by Georg Friedrich Haendel from his "Nine German Arias," based on a text by poet Barthold Heinrich Brockes. The Artiz gallery invites you to discover a selection of iconic works by this internationally renowned artist, now a must-see in the Halle region. His famous "musical paintings" in oil are complemented by watercolors depicting landscapes and urban scenes, as well as, exclusively, several hand-colored prints. Between colors, music, and poetry, this exhibition offers an immersion into the world of German neo-expressionism and proposes a sensitive dialogue between what we see and what we hear.
