The couple from the Markgräflerland, formerly active in teaching, has been mainly traveling as musicians and writers for several years. Karin Mörgelin authored her first novel "Tareks Dilemma" (2023). The book deals with the consequences of traumatic experiences for individuals. In her Swiss crime novel "The Meadow" (2024), it’s about money and power at Lake Zug. In the second volume "The Picture" (2025), the investigator follows an art theft in Zug. In her political writing "Vision," Karin Mörgelin designs a grassroots democratic societal model. She documented her collected songs in a songbook. Rainer Fribolin is a Germanist who earned his doctorate from Peter von Matt on "Modern Rural Childhood Autobiography." He is involved in the peace movement and is currently researching the Alsatian writer, poet, and pacifist René Schickele (1883–1940) and his significant expressionist magazine "Die Weissen Blätter" (1913–1921). A first CD with his Alemannic love songs is titled "Das machsch du" (2024). Sociologist Ueli Mäder conducts the conversation, and Rainer Fribolin accompanies the event musically.
