Description

With the pianist Yvonne Lang and the writer Gina Bucher, who was awarded the Central Swiss Literature Prize, two Lucerne artists come together. Their writing paints a literary picture of the present – characterized by precise observation, linguistic precision, and subtle humor. Where language reaches its limits, space opens up for music. This space also applies to two long-overlooked, now newly discovered composers: Marianna Martines and Clara Schumann. Text passages from «Von Wolken und Menschen» alternate with the bright optimism of the famous Ballade No. 3 by Frédéric Chopin and the existential soundscapes of Leoš Janáček's Im Nebel. An evening in which word and music merge and celestial journeys unfold, which wonderfully provoke some reflection.
