Description

Starting from alpine dances and songs, the trio JÜTZ turns the entire alpine folklore upside down. With improvisation, surprising tonal deviations, and a multi-layered soundscape, a musical experience is created that connects tradition and the present.

The musicians from Switzerland and Tyrol combine cultivated folk music tradition with an open, cross-border sound language. Dialects, regional nuances, as well as elements from classical and contemporary music merge into an independent musical expression.

As Artists in Residence, JÜTZ let themselves be inspired by architecture, acoustics, and landscape at Klanghaus Toggenburg. This results in a new program in close exchange with the region.

The event ticket includes travel within the entire OSTWIND tariff association. For travel from outside the tariff association, a ticket to the first stop within the tariff area is required.

Parking
Paid parking is available at the valley station ‹Chäserrugg Bahn› in Unterwasser and at the ‹Talstation Oberdorfbahn› in Wildhaus. There is no parking available at Klanghaus.

General Information

The trio JÜTZ from Switzerland and Tyrol presents a modern interpretation of alpine folklore. The concert takes place at Klanghaus Toggenburg in Unterwasser and lasts about 70 minutes without intermission. A shuttle service included in the ticket facilitates arrival.
