Description

The exhibition at Kunstmuseum Chur features a broad range of Spinatsch's works created over the past 35 years, including publications, photo series, installations, and videos. Using a documentary approach, the artist investigates societal events and the possibilities of photography, from direct observation to semi-automatic techniques that blend chance and control. Locations such as the Vienna Opera Ball, WEF in Davos, and Icelandic mud pools serve as his research spaces. The presentation introduces a new spatial dramaturgy and invites visitors to reflect on perception, authority, and the construction of media images.
