During her move, she stumbles upon a box filled with all sorts of treasures: a few dusty childhood photos, suspenders, and a diary of her beloved Grandma Fritz. The entries vividly and sensitively depict her seemingly monotonous yet surprisingly lively daily life in the retirement home. While reading, Claire unexpectedly uncovers a startling secret about her origins... "Streuselkuchen – ein Stück für alle" is a chanson cabaret about the small wonders of life, about transience and homeland. And about everything that can become home.
