Whether at the farm, the village grocery store, or at the heart of the weekly market, on Saturday, October 17, 2026, Switzerland will once again turn to local + fair. The National Local + Fair Day invites you to rediscover your region, meet passionate producers, and celebrate responsible consumption. This year's main event will take place at the village market of our local + fair community, Wohlen near Bern. From 9:30 AM to 5 PM, the Hinterkappelen village square will host meetings with regional producers and craft businesses. And if you already want to enjoy local moments of pleasure before this date, you won't be left out: from mid-September, many farms, estates, and gastronomic establishments will open their doors under the banner of "local + fair."
