Description
Come and listen to Josef Klíma, author of the popular programme ‘How I Survived the Nineties’ and a pioneer of investigative journalism in this country.
Josef Klíma will reminisce about the wild ‘nineties’ and his encounters with the powerful mafia figures of the time, from Jonák to Krejčíř. He will also talk about how dangerous it was to be a journalist back then and how crime has changed since then. He will also answer questions from the audience, for example about the popular series ‘Seven Steps to Power’ (TV Prima), for which, as a screenwriter, he was loosely inspired by the Nagyová–Nečas case.
The discussion will take place at the Eurocentrum in Jablonec on Monday 16 November from 6 pm.
Unnumbered seating. Tickets can be purchased online (link above) or at the Eurocentrum box office
