Description
The well-known writer and clergyman Johann Peter Hebel from Hausen im Wiesental died 200 years ago. Some of his Alemannic poems have been set to music. His New Year's song was even composed by the famous composer Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy. Numerous others by his contemporary, church musician Martin Vogt. Vogt has demonstrably also performed at the St. Trudpert Monastery. The Staufen singer Kerstin Bögner and district cantor Karin Karle on the organ bring these Hebel settings to hear. The art expert Arno Herbener from Münstertal explains the connections between Johann Peter Hebel and Martin Vogt to the St. Trudpert Monastery. Additionally, organ works by Martin Vogt and Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy will be performed. Copyright: Bezirkskantorat Münstertal
