The world-famous Swiss cellist performs live in Zurich With over 13 million followers on Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Facebook, Jodok has become one of the most well-known content creators in Switzerland – a global musician who brought the cello closer to Generation Z and beyond. Under the name «JODOKCELLO», his art experienced a real boom online. On his «WORLD TOUR», he is now stopping in Zurich among other places. Jodok Vuille was born in 1988 in the quiet hills of the Emmental in Switzerland and grew up on an organic farm surrounded by nature and silence. In this simplicity, he discovered his passion for music. At the age of six, he took his first cello in hand and never put it down again. In 2006, he took a bold step and built his own cello, which has accompanied him on his musical journey ever since. He received a classical music education, earned a bachelor's degree in 2011, followed by two master's degrees, and obtained his coveted concert diploma. For years, Jodok toured Europe as a soloist, chamber musician, orchestral musician, and teacher until he decided to share his life on social media. He performs barefoot in breathtaking natural landscapes, blending classical and modern cello covers. But Jodok is more than just a viral phenomenon. He is a visionary who brings classical music closer to people and conveys the message he lives by with every note: «Music is not just sound. It is connection. It is presence. It is truth.» His journey has also led him to joint performances – virtual and physical – with stars like Alan Walker, IL VOLO, Lindsey Stirling, Teddy Swims, Il Divo, Placido Domingo Jr., and many others. The royal family of Qatar personally invited him to perform in Doha, and in 2024 he was awarded the World Influencer Award in Cannes. And while he walks barefoot – sometimes over mountains, sometimes across the stages of this world – he carries the spirit of the Alps, the honesty of the earth, and the soul of a cello that was never meant to be confined in concert halls.
