Bohdan Prachař - drums We warmly invite you to a unique concert of world chanson. You will hear a repertoire including French songs (E. Piaf, K. Weill, F. Hardy), Czech (H. Hegerová, Radůza), English (P. Lee, R. Charles), and Spanish (I. Albéniz, A. Piazzolla). The sensitive and colorful accompaniment of percussion magically supports the charm of the piano and the captivating vocal expression. Deeply intimate or dramatic cabaret songs contrast with lively Latin American rhythms. Two instruments like a whole orchestra! The concert will take place in a cozy and homey environment of the music salon at the Ždánice chateau and is intended for an exclusive number of 45 guests, ensuring close contact with the performers and a unique experience. During the break and after the concert, complemented by excellent homemade refreshments, there will be space for personal meetings, conversations, or group photos. The evening will be hosted by Nathaniel Filip de Aras, the owner of the chateau. Dress code: Smart Casual – relaxed elegance (We kindly ask ladies not to wear high-heeled shoes that are not suitable for the wooden floor). Parking is recommended around the Staroždánická pub (the parking lot is next to the pub and on the street leading to the church). The program will last approximately 120 minutes. Jitka Štěrbáková is a Czech pianist, singer, and cabaret artist living in France. A graduate of the Janáček Academy of Music and Performing Arts in classical music, she was lured by the culture and charm of France and went on to expand her skills and experiences at the Conservatoire in Strasbourg. There, she discovered the charm of traditional cabaret and began to focus on singing, chanson, jazz, and even pantomime alongside the piano. In her original arrangements, she utilizes the pianistic virtuosity of classical music, stylization, and improvisation across genres. Bohdan Prachař is a well-traveled musician, percussionist, and multi-instrumentalist with rich artistic experiences. His artistry includes playing drums, bongos, congas, cajon, yidaki (didgeridoo), and brumle. Throughout his artistic career, he has performed with a large number of musicians, projects, and DJs across Europe and Australia, where he lived for five years and where he still regularly performs with the band of the Aboriginal Karajarri tribe.
