Castle flower art. For the sixteenth year, the event Jezeří v květech takes place at Jezeří Castle on the first weekend of October. Under the guidance of renowned florist Klára Franc Vavříková, vice-chairwoman of florists, a group of florists called Dream TÝM will decorate the castle spaces with imaginative floral installations. A unique opportunity to explore the castle interiors without a guide.
You will have the chance to see most of the accessible rooms on the basic tour route. Dream TÝM consists of several florists from across the Czech Republic, working on the decorations for several days, without claiming a fee, with contributions from sponsors for floral materials. Jezeří v květech was born years ago from the idea of helping the heavily tested, devastated, and at that time still threatened castle in connection with the ongoing brown coal mining. The aim of the event was to draw attention to this rare monument, previously overlooked, and to contribute to its restoration with the proceeds.
