This time, a good dose of groove is in the spotlight: Wednesday, September 30, Blue Note Biel-Bienne "THE NOTE" Groovin’ J5 Mats Spillmann (tp), Dave Feusi (saxes), Peter Wagner (p), Patrick Sommer (b), Christian Niederer (dr) Doors open: 5:00 PM, Concert from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Jazz Apéro – Free entry – Donation The band, led by the two excellent saxophonists Mats Spillmann and Dave Feusi, mainly plays groovy tunes from the 50s and 60s. Peter Wagner mainly operates the Fender Rhodes for keyboards, Patrick Sommer (equally comfortable with the double bass and electric bass), and Christian Niederer provide the necessary steam of the machine room. It’s pure jazz, but it makes you move your hips.
