After last year's hopelessly sold-out concert, where not everyone could get in, Janek Ledecký returns to Dolní Počernice. The acoustic Christmas concert featuring Janek Ledecký, guitarist Michal Kovaľčík, and percussionist Jožka Gorel will take place on Wednesday, November 18, 2026, at Hotel Svornost, Prague 9 - Dolní Počernice, starting at 7 PM. The concert will feature the biggest hits, including iconic Christmas songs. Janek Ledecký is one of our most famous music stars. He first gained public attention as the frontman of the rock band Žentour, which released its first album Žentour 001 in 1987. In 1989, it won the TV hit parade 'Triangl' with the song 'Utajený světadíl' three times in a row and in the summer won the Bratislava Lyra at the most prestigious Czechoslovak international music festival with 'Promilujem celou noc'. This was followed by the single 'Všechno bude fajn', and Žentour was definitively catapulted from rock clubs to stadiums. The album Žentour 003 became the best-selling on the market. This was followed by the album Žentour 005 with the legendary hit 'Proklínám'. He is also a successful author and performer of musicals (Hamlet, Galileo, IAGO, Forget Shakespeare), which have won the hearts of audiences in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, as well as in Japan and South Korea. Michal Kovaľčík is a Slovak guitarist who has been collaborating with Janek Ledecký for over 30 years. He has contributed to many recordings of Slovak and Czech artists. In addition to performing, he is involved in composing and recording music for theatrical productions. He has collaborated on recordings of musicals and productions for Slovak and Czech theaters. Jožka Gorel is a Slovak percussionist and drummer who has become an integral part of Janek Ledecký's concert lineup. He was originally only supposed to guest at selected chamber concerts (e.g., with the Nostitz Quartet), but his musical contribution and rhythmic accompaniment are now a regular part of the performances.
