Jahrgängerverein Dübendorf, October Hike in the Hallwilersee Area

Description

The hike starts in Leutwil and takes us on trails through meadows and forest sections, steadily and gently uphill towards Homberg to the Hochwacht. Along the way, beautiful views open up repeatedly over the Wynen and Seetal with Hallwiler and Baldeggersee. After a final short ascent, you reach the observation tower on the Homberg Hochwacht (788 m above sea level), also known as the "Aargau Rigi." From there, it goes down towards Birrwil to the lake restaurant.
