From August 2 to November 1, 2026, the House of Illustration in Chur presents the exhibition “Jagdlust auf gute Laune” by Rolf Giger.
The exhibition gathers humorous original caricatures about hunting, nature, and life outdoors. Whether hunter, dog, deer, or hare – Rolf Giger observes typical situations with subtle humor and great attention to detail. His drawings tell stories of surprising encounters, small mishaps, and the peculiarities of humans and animals.
Rolf Giger has worked for over 40 years as an illustrator and caricaturist for Swiss media. His caricatures have appeared, among others, in Schweizer Jäger, Nebelspalter, Bündner Tagblatt, and other publications. His works combine precise observation with a clear drawing style and a fine sense of humor.
The exhibition takes place at the House of Illustration in the old town of Chur. In addition to the original drawings on display, visitors also gain insight into the illustrator’s working world and the creative space where exhibitions, drawing courses, and illustration projects regularly take place.
