The World Cleanup Championship is in full swing, and we’re right in the thick of it. We’ve been part of it for ages. Everyone wants order, but not everyone wants the same kind. We take a break and stand at the buffet. The selection is huge. While many things are becoming more and more alike, there’s still a bit of everything. A sense of aimlessness and fear of the future—even more so than before. Manuel Stahlberger fills a plate and serves us this whole jumble in small bites, including hand axes and cave paintings from his ancestors back then, poetry albums, Christmas movies, baked art, songs from the sweltering heat, and reports on life on distant planets.
