Description

In the last concert of the Heimatklänge series, the trio InterFolk, composed of three musicians raised in traditional folk music, presents a diverse program blending old and new. They feature original compositions alongside pieces from their musical ancestors. Guest artist Mathias Landtwing, a clarinetist from Zug, joins with his traditional ensemble Kapelle Mathi Landtwing, dedicated to preserving and performing classic Innerschweizer folk music. The ensemble's repertoire includes influential pieces from renowned composers, performed with a classic instrumentation of clarinet, accordion, piano, and double bass. Accordionist Andrea Ulrich from Schwyz, one of Switzerland's top accordionists, plays in both groups. The concert promises an engaging and enjoyable experience to conclude the 2026/27 Heimatklänge season.
