Innerschweizer Trachtenfest

Description

A special occasion for choosing the venue is the 100th anniversary of the Trachtelüüt Willisau and the 100th anniversary of the Luzerner Trachtenvereinigung, which is celebrated in the same year (the Heimatabend of the Trachtelüüt is in November 2027) and gives the festival an additional festive framework. On Friday, June 11, the annual meeting of the Luzerner Trachtenvereinigung takes place.
On Saturday, June 12, hundreds of traditional costume wearers from all over Central Switzerland pilgrimage to Willisau to dance and celebrate together. A highlight will certainly be the polonaise, which will be performed together with all participating traditional costumes. It will not only be a festival for traditional costume wearers. Rather, EVERYONE (including the civilian population) is warmly invited.
