Two bands that have shaped modern metal for decades will share the stage and promise an evening full of brutal riffs and uncompromising energy. The lineup is completed by the Swiss exceptional band Paleface Swiss and the progressive metal formation Vola. In Flames have been one of the most important names in Swedish metal since the early 90s. Hailing from Gothenburg, the band has continually evolved its sound, developing a blend of melodic guitars, heaviness, and modern influences. From albums like The Jester Race and Clayman to I, The Mask and Foregone: In Flames have never viewed their own style as a static concept. This evolution has always been part of the band's identity. Trivium has established itself as a major force in modern metal since their breakthrough with Ascendancy in 2005. The album is still considered a milestone and laid the foundation for a career with ten studio albums, international tours, and a Grammy nomination. On What The Dead Men Say (2020) and In The Court Of The Dragon (2021), the band showcased their full musical range: driving thrash metal, classic metal influences, progressive elements, big melodies, and technically demanding guitar work come together. Trivium successfully balances heaviness and catchy songs – and this mix has made the band one of the defining names of their generation. As if the package wasn't already great enough, the hardest Swiss metal export of recent years, Paleface Swiss, will also join. The deathcore phenomenon has shown for several years that the picturesque city of Limmat produces much more than just luxury goods and banks - brutal breakdowns, guttural growls, and massive mosh pits are part of the program when Paleface Swiss tears up the stage. The evening will be opened by Vola. The Danish-Swedish band has made another significant step forward with their 2024 album Friend Of A Phantom, further refining their blend of progressive metal, electronic sounds, atmospheric passages, and catchy melodies. Special attention was also drawn to Cannibal feat. Anders Fridén, the singer of In Flames. Four bands, an evening full of driving melodies, heavy riffs, progressive soundscapes, and brutal heaviness.
