Description

And again, two years have passed! The biennial exhibition project IMPRESSION focuses entirely on printmaking. Swiss artists working in this medium are welcome to apply to participate in the exhibition. The idea was developed in addition to the Grenchner Triennale and was launched in 2008 with the opening of our new building. In 2026, the 12th edition of this renowned show will be presented. As always, an external expert jury will decide on the selected works. And again, exciting boundary shifts in our understanding of printmaking are expected in this edition. It continually surprises with its status between machine production and compositional image creation, offering the unexpected.
