Description

Already the 23rd edition of the international Hudební festival Znojmo will once again bring masterful music from domestic and foreign artists to Znojmo and its surroundings (including the Austrian border region), traditionally accompanied by quality wines from the Znojmo wine region. The main attraction is always concerts by world-renowned names, such as the acclaimed violin virtuoso Pavel Šporcl – a long-time patron of the festival, or the unique baroque musical work "stagiona" in its own production with period music interpretation. This time, it will feature a unique presentation "The Secret of the Opera Workshop" – two comic opera gems combining humor, nobility, and the tradition of Italian buffa and Viennese classicism. Directed by Ondřej Havelka and conducted by Tomáš Netopilas, the main roles will be played by Adam Plachetka and Kateřina Kněžíková. The opera will be performed with a star-studded cast at the cultural and creative Center Jízdárna in Znojmo. Each year, the festival's dramaturgy unites under one common theme. You can look forward to dozens of concerts, performances, and accompanying cultural events from July 8 to 25, 2027. Expect not only great concerts in the field of classical music but also a multi-genre program that includes cimbalom music or jazz, as well as a special program for children and wine events. Each concert is traditionally accompanied by tastings of selected wines from the Znojmo wine region included in the ticket price. The festival INFOPOINT can be found throughout the duration of the Hudební festival Znojmo at the office of the destination company ZnojmoRegion in the historic center of Znojmo near the Town Hall Tower (Obroková 2/10 – right below the Tourist Information Center of the city of Znojmo).
