Since 1995, HISS has been providing lyrical life advice for all aspects of existence, the rhythm for lively dance evenings, the soundtrack to our everyday life. And they do this without demanding much: thunderous applause, a little wine, a snack, and a few coins are enough reward for them. "For a Handful of Cents" is also the name of their new record, released in the 30th year of their existence, delighting us with more than a handful of new songs. Songs full of power, wit, and life experience about eternal themes like love, addiction, long-distance travel, and the weather, in a unique blend of polka and rock’n’roll, Tex-Mex and Balkan blues, ska and country, from dirt and schmaltz.
