HIHIHAHAHOLKY mix experimental rap, sarcasm, and activism with a wild stage presence, hard trap beats, and jazz elements. For the first time in Pardubice! HIHIHAHAHOLKY consists of rappers and performers Alena Novotná and Štěpánka Todorová along with music producer and live DJ Matěj Šíma (Taťko Maťko). Alena and Štěpánka play with the Czech language and reflect personal experiences, relationships, feminism, and broader social issues in their lyrics. Matěj Šíma frames their performance with original production tailored to the trio. The band was formed in 2022 during their studies at the Department of Alternative and Puppet Theatre at DAMU. Their debut album Pinky Winky Life (2023) explores the girl world and everyday life with a sense of humor. The second conceptual album Adventures of Jessica and Angie (2025) follows the story of two main characters and addresses themes of harassment, stalking, social pressure, and problematic family relationships. In their third album SSSCREAM (2026), HIHIHAHAHOLKY drew inspiration from The Witch Hammer and the historical witch hunts, transferring those motifs to the present and connecting them with issues of sexism, gender inequality, abuse of power, and violence against women. The album was created in close connection with the eponymous scenic rap concert. HIHIHAHAHOLKY also have experience in creating music for theater and film. They created music and lyrics for the production Fakani at A Studio Rubín and music for the short film My Homeland, in which Alena Novotná and Štěpánka Todorová played the main roles. They collaborated with the experimental rap duo P/\ST on the single My Home (2024).
