Description
Autumn is pumpkin time: In Switzerland, autumn begins with harvest time, Thanksgiving, and Halloween, a phase in which pumpkins play a central role – both visually and culturally. In the last days of the season, everything at the nature station revolves around autumn and pumpkins. At an information table, our young and adult guests learn how nature and animals prepare for winter. During pumpkin carving, children and their companions can freely express their creativity, train their fine motor skills, and carve cheerful-spooky Halloween faces relaxed outdoors at the picnic area. Tools and templates are provided. Pumpkins can be purchased on site - while supplies last. Date: Friday - Sunday, 23rd - 25th, as well as Wednesday, 28th and Friday-Saturday, 30th - 31st October 2026
