Description
Dear music friends, with a colorful program, the Orchestra Liechtenstein-Werdenberg invites you to musical autumn concerts full of stories, traditions, and sonic diversity. The opening is the Intermezzo from Zoltán Kodáy's Háry János Suite, which brings to life the world of the legendary storyteller Háry János with Hungarian folklore and humorous charm. A special highlight of the concert is the double concerto for trumpet by Fazıl Say. The Turkish composer and pianist combines powerful rhythms, catchy melodies, and modern sound colors into an exhilarating work. The two solo trumpets engage in an exciting musical dialogue, switching between virtuosic passages and lyrical moments, and repeatedly merge with the orchestra to create a captivating soundscape. The work shows the trumpet not only as a radiant solo instrument but also as a versatile storyteller full of expression and emotion. Antonín Dvořák's Czech Suite impresses with its folkloric freshness, while the Bündner dances by Gion Antoni Derungs bring the musical traditions of Graubünden into the concert hall in an impressive way. Thus, the program combines the familiar and the new into a varied musical experience full of energy, colors, and stories. We warmly invite you to our multifaceted autumn concerts and look forward to your visit! Your Orchestra Liechtenstein-Werdenberg
