This hands-on garden course guides participants through steps to make their gardens winter-ready and supportive of local wildlife. Led by a gardening expert, small groups will explore the course garden, learn to identify garden potentials, and create structures like brush piles to provide shelter and food for insects, hedgehogs, and other creatures. The course emphasizes practical actions, avoiding harmful autumn cleanup, and encourages participants to develop their own ideas for sustainable gardening, whether in large gardens or small balconies.
