Description

With her new program «Kei Kunst», singer and comedian Helenka finally aims to become a renowned artist. During her artistic metamorphosis, she encounters enthusiastic hobby artist Doris and Mrs. Romantickova, a curator with a penchant for meaningful phrases and questionable practices. On the way to the Olympus of high culture, the big question inevitably arises: When is it art – and when is it art therapy? Helenka sings, performs, fails – and creates a Gesamtkunstwerk of humor, quirky songs, and a bag of singing collages. With transformations and growing artistic urgency, an evening unfolds between megalomania, glitter glue, and the quiet hope that someone at the end will say: This is art! She is accompanied by Simon Althaus on 88 keys (52 white, 36 black) and Pascal Lüthi on percussion with two sticks and posture. A humorous stage evening between megalomania, music, and true art.
