Description
The black-and-white filmed feature based on Johanna Spyri's world-famous story is still considered the most poetic and impressive adaptation of the story of the orphan girl Heidi. She lives with her bitter grandfather, the Alpöhi, in the Graubünden mountains and spends her days most happily with Geissenpeter. One day, she is torn from this familiar world and arrives in Frankfurt, where she meets the disabled Klara. The Kammerphilharmonie Graubünden performs Robert Blum's film music live to the picture. The live music production was specially reworked by Swiss composer and arranger Raban Brunner and celebrates its world premiere in 2027 – on the 200th birthday of Johanna Spyri. Film and music merge into a unique and particularly nostalgic concert experience that brings a significant piece of Swiss film history to life. Cast:
