Description

Heidi is brought as a little girl to her grandfather, the headstrong Alpöhi, in the mountains. Up there, far away from the city, she encounters a rough but impressive world full of nature, freedom, and new impressions. The Alpöhi lives reclusively and initially meets Heidi with distance, but gradually a quiet, deep bond develops between them. In the mountain world, Heidi finds a new home. Together with Geissenpeter, she experiences everyday life on the alp, the wide meadows, the animals, and the power of nature. She learns what it means to live outside, take responsibility, and appreciate friendships. But life in the mountains also brings changes. Later, Heidi is taken to Frankfurt, where she meets Klara, a sickly girl from a wealthy family. Between the strict city world and her longing for the mountains, Heidi must learn to cope with homesickness, new rules, and very different living conditions. The question arises whether Heidi can maintain her own strength and build bridges between the two very different worlds with her open, warm-hearted nature.
