Description
People, animals, sensations The world of the ring is not a topic for the Heidelberg HardChor, on the contrary: Under the title "Nicht mein Zirkus" the masculine choir, conducted by Bernhard Bentgens, once again balances on the high wire of men's fates. There, the singers balance between intellectual pirouettes and emotional blows and juggle their own existential themes: longing for distant places and relationship frustration, emotional management and Föhn hairstyle, fighting over the milk frother in the office and last but not least, how to pronounce Stracciatella with a full mouth. The HardChor conjures the magic of music with songs by Queen, David Bowie, Danger Dan, Gianna Nannini, Rio Reiser, Herbert Grönemeyer, Bernhard Bentgens, Bill Withers, and the Fine Young Cannibals. "Nicht mein Zirkus" is the eleventh program of the HardChor, where melodious vocal acrobatics merge with quirky-witty texts from the HardChor workshop – like a Stracciatella ice cream. They have been through a lot and mostly make do among themselves: the HardChor men around conductor Bernhard Bentgens. For over three decades, they have been shaking up the German cabaret and comedy scene with their unique combination of singing, singing, and singing. Additional information:
