Description
Youthful innocence? Not a trace! The last, poetic and singing anarchist of the German music scene is far from quitting: Hans Söllner, Bavarian singer-songwriter and rebel, still attracts thousands of concert-goers every year. "Hey State" was one of his first records in 1989, and even then, the guitarist and singer presented himself as someone who speaks his mind openly — so directly that it sometimes hits those addressed like a punch. No one else rants as eloquently and passionately, of course in the finest Bavarian dialect, against the state, police, and authorities! He simply cannot be described better than the Süddeutsche Zeitung did:
"We have no better than this stoner, cursing, state, church, and religion insulting Rastafarian, who also circumvents High German widely. Respect, Mr. Söllner."
