ECDL has been known as ICDL since 01.01.2025. Content -Kick-Off (2 lessons): Microsoft Teams and digital tools in teaching-Written communication (74 lessons): Language basics, presentation, style, content, and use of AI in correspondence-ICDL Base (68 lessons): ICDL module computer basics, ICDL module online basics, ICDL module word processing (Word), ICDL module spreadsheet (Excel), typing exam-Accounting (64 lessons): Basics of double-entry bookkeeping, bookkeeping practice, closing a sole proprietorship-Law (40 lessons): Basics of Swiss legal system, contract formation, various types of contracts, corporate law, procedural law-Business administration (40 lessons): Basics of business administration, companies and environment, various business areas: marketing, organization, personnel-Social skills and self-management* (8 lessons, 4 lessons in presence and 4 lessons e-learning): Team competence, contact and communication skills, feedback and dealing with others, analysis of personal work behavior * Exam-free subject Prerequisites -Very good written and spoken German skills (level B2 completed)-Experienced in typing or willingness to acquire this skill (e.g., with the seminar Typing ICDL Typing Skills Certificate BYOD)-Access to Office programs and internet Learning objectives At the end of this course, you will have the necessary tools for entering the world of commercial professions.-You have basic commercial and economic knowledge and can apply it.-You can specifically use your basic knowledge in accounting, business administration (including marketing), and contract law.-You can independently perform commercial tasks and feel comfortable doing so.-Communicating with other people in the commercial environment is easy for you.-You are able to analyze and optimize your work behavior. Target group -You already have initial training, for example as a bricklayer, sales assistant, hairdresser, or early childhood educator and want to switch to office work.-You already work in an office and want to complement your experience with solid commercial basic training.-You want to advance professionally and create a foundation for further training that offers you long-term prospects.-You dropped out of training at a young age and now want to qualify for office work.-You are self-employed and want to competently and efficiently handle administrative tasks in your company. Note Recognized further education can be costly. The good news: you receive support. If you complete training with a federal certificate of competence (e.g., technical commercial employee with federal certificate) after the commercial school, you will be reimbursed up to 50 percent of the course costs by the federal government after passing the federal exam.
