Description

To be or not to be, to kill or not to kill? Questions that always hide something new. Hamlet is visited by the ghost of his father who gives him a task – to kill King Claudius. Although Hamlet honors his father and the duty to avenge his death, he is reluctant to stab his uncle just because of some hallucination. If he is to take action, he must think it through properly first. The doubts that arise in Hamlet's soul, his aversion to resorting to violence, and the fear that he is not doing enough to avenge his murdered father lead the Danish prince to develop such thoughts about death and the meaning of human life that are rarely matched in the history of theater and art. And just like other philosophical artistic works, such as The Name of the Rose or The Brothers Karamazov, philosophy in Hamlet is realized against the backdrop of a bloody detective story.
