Description
A traditional Austrian-Czech walk will this time lead to the quiet zone in the western part of the national parks, where the forests are left to natural development. Participants will learn how the originally landscaped park near the later state border has transformed and how joint Czech-Austrian projects strengthen the protection of this valuable ecosystem. The excursion will be conducted in two languages. Participants will meet at 9 AM at the parking lot by the bridge in Hardegg, with a return planned to the same location at 3 PM.
